BEYOND THE GUARDED GATE

Mezzo-Soprano Jennifer Weiman and Tenor Neal Long, assisted by pianist Jordan Voth, will present vocal pieces embodying the many facets of womanhood.

Included in this recital is the newly commissioned cycle, “Through the Guarded Gate,” written by composer Juliana Hall, and will be presented as part of an international project to “march” the female perspective across the world. 

Today’s presentation in Kansas City is one of over 170 presentations (including all 50 states in the US) planned to perform this cycle. Details on this project are being released as they are available
